Hi Emma,

Just a brief email to say thank you for the Winnie The Pooh murals in the children’s room at St Luke’s, and the fantastic illustrations in the book Why The Snow is White.

I purchased the book in the Pinner Charity Shop, and at the request of my wife, looked at your website, and hence found the person who did the murals at St Luke’s.

The murals are wonderful. My 4-year-old son spent a lot of time in that room this summer, because my mother died of ovarian cancer in St Luke’s in August 2005. She was only there for a couple of weeks, as it was a particularly aggressive form of the disease.

He was very happy playing in there, and the murals were very apt for him, as he has a Winnie the Pooh of his own which he sleeps with every night. We used to use it to prop his milk bottle for him, so he calls it 'Milky Bear'.

Thank you very much for your kind work for St Luke’s. It really is appreciated by both patients and families.
